We are called Les Etoiles du Mont Blanc, and welcome to our Blog!
Our team of four ladies have committed to two challenges for the first French Oxfam Trailwalker.
The first is to raise a MINIMUM of 1500 Euros sponsorship as a team to help Oxfam fund their Humanitarian aid projects.
The good news is Les Etoiles du Mont Blanc have already passed the 2900.00 Euro mark!
The second, and most difficult challenge is to walk 100km, as a team , in less than 30hours.
With around 80 other teams of four, we’ll be walking in the park du Morvan on the 12th and 13th June in Burgundy, and we’ll be motivated by your support!
Well, it’s true to say that in January 2010 when I received an email from Oxfam proposing the challenge of the first French Trail walker, I didn’t know Julie, Jane and Steph as well as I do now, after walking together for two days solid in the Jura – And they know me better too!
The immediate enthuastic response I received has never faltered, and I can’t tell you how quickly the time has passed. We’ll be walking the Oxfam Trail walker in 14 days time.
All profits raised for the Trailwalker will be going to Oxfam France via our Website.
