Hi Everyone,
Well the fantastic news of the weekend is that we not only completed the trailwalker in 22 hours and 22 minutes, but that we were also the FIRST ALL WOMEN team to complete the first edition of the Fench trailwalker! We came in 13th out of 88 teams, with all of the Etoiles in one piece - we are so proud!!!




An enormous thank you has to go to our support team, who were there every step of the way, saving us time and pampering to our every need :)

We are on our way home already! Very pleased to say we are the first female team to complete the first french trail walker! Finished in 22 hrs 25 mins :)

6am and the sun is rising! A beautiful morning and we are all excited and preparing our feet as we go to breakfast :)

We're Off!

So, after the final bit of packing, and last few purchases this morning, we're setting off to Saulieu, Burgundy within the next hour.
We'll have a dinner with most of the other teams this evening, and get to meet the Oxfam organisers.
...And then we start the BIG challenge at 7am tomorrow morning :)

...I can't believe how quickly it's coming around!

This time next week we'll be in burgundy ladies!

Merci Trudi, maintenant tout le monde sait que je chante comme une casserole ! Ce qui se dit pendant la marche reste entre les marcheurs ! sinon je donne une description détaillées de tes dessous de pieds ! Rassurez vous Philippe ne nous servira pas de GPS, et il pourra s'amuser à suivre les flèches jaunes entre les différents points de contrôle. En revanche Emy ne sera pas là pour m'empêcher de chanter ...

Walking in Switzerland...

An Interesting Warm up...





We walked a really beautiful trail from Montreux to Cully, a port 8km from Lausanne. The weather was fab, and the walk, which takes you alongside the lake and through the vineyards, is highly recommended for the scenery!



Steph started a new fashion in sportswear...
Philippe took us on a detour (!)... Emilie successfully stopped Steph singing whilst wearing headphones :) a great day was had by all :)
